04/05/15 - Woodford - Nanango Qld

After 6 days in Woodford, some of which were quite eventful, we headed off to Nanango, via Kilcoy, Blacbutt and Yarraman.

We took the opportunity whilst passing through Kicoy to visit the showground and dump our black and grey water tanls.

Blackbutt was an interesting little town with some interesting buildings.

Then on to Yarraman, a small place with an interesting War Memorial, as it was only dedicated in 1995, whereas in most towns these memorials date back to the first few years after WW1.

In Nanango we free camped at Tipperary Flat, a few other vans were there as well.

Some historical displays about the timber industry in the area, sadly all gone now.

Gold was also found in this area.
