Did a round trip through Maleny and Montville, very scenic country side and interesting places to visit.
Maleny is a nice place to visit with plenty of character, we didn't get a chance to llok around earlier in our trip when we visited the Maleny Wood Expo when we got caught in the floods.
Of course with all that rain they get in Queensland everything is lovely and green, something we don't as much at home.
On to Montville, a more "touristy" place but still an interesting place to visit.
Some interesting clocks, a lot of Grandfather clocks, in this shop, some with eye watering prices!
Someone built a beautiful chapel especially for weddings.
The front doors were beautifully decorated with with some exquisite wood carving, here is just one detail.
The end wall of the chapel was all glass and looks out over the valley.
Bit late for our wedding photos though!
A lady took this photo of us and emailed it to us. She asked how long we had been married and responded that her married "bliss" didn't last nearly as long and didn't end well.
